Only seven cars running. John Weston broke a driveshaft before racing. Racing conditions were wet. In race one John Salter retired on lap two. Neil Clarke retired on lap four with diff/clutch issues. Rosemary Staniford led for two laps before Gary Granger took the lead. Harry Sayell assumed the lead with two laps remaining.
