John Wilson reported that an invitation to appear at Ringwood on 31st March would have to be declined. It was agreed that at this stage we could not guarantee a large enough number of cars ready to be able to divide them for two separate meetings.

Brian Birkin reported that the promoter of Kings Lynn track would like to book us for Sunday 20th June, minimum 20 cars for 40 as a test meeting with a promise of more dates if successful. This left to John Wilson to negotiate with the promoter.

PRO Keith Hammett reported that he had done some publicity work for the club in Sweden and Germany. It was agreed that his expenses amounting to 18.50 be refunded by the Treasurer.

Technical committee: Paul Daly reported that a new set of regulations had been drawn up by the Technical Committee - a copy to be sent to all. After discussion Paul Daly proposed that Bob Burridge be asked to specify a date when he would alter his car as it does not conform to the specification. Seconded Bob Elson. All agreed.

Rules: The Chairman raised the question of club rules for all races this year, i.e. positions, grading, etc. Keith Fransella read out a set of rules which he had drawn up and were agreed by the members. A copy of these will be sent to all members. It was further agreed that all drivers who had raced midgets before should start in the first race in the positions they held at the end of last year.

The meeting closed at 6pm with a vote of thanks to the Chair.
